Pla de Qulificació en Tecnologia Mòbil
PQTM is a project that I worked on as a collaboration with Layout Disseny. Together we created the visual brand image of the university master Pla de Qualificació en Tecnologia Mòbil. The project was created for Centro de Innovació i Formació Ocupacional (CIFO) de L'Hospitalet.
In spite of the strict restrictions imposed due to it being a governmental institution, we ignited this project and created a concept that more than fulfilled the client’s expectations.
The logo defines different essential aspects of the studies. On the one hand we have the bracket symbol, which is commonly used in different programming languages, so it is a very iconic element. On the other hand, the chosen typography is Fira Sans, which has a geometry that reminds us of code visualization fonts. The composition generates a square that generates in the eyes of the user a sense of rigor and seriousness towards the studies. Finally, the proportions we have created with the brackets and acronyms, generate a composition reminiscent of the logos of mobile applications.
